Math Enrichment is a quarter-long skills recovery class. Students are assigned to math enrichment based on their success on a particular skill. Each quarter will focus on learning and practicing the skills from the previous quarter. So a student might have one quarter of math enrichment, they might have two quarters or all year. It depends entirely on their learning in regular math class. The secondary focus will be to study for regular math class and answer questions.
1st quarter will focus on an essential skill from 7th grade math: negative numbers. Homework: There is no homework for math enrichment. Grading: This class is A/P/F. To earn an A: Participate in class. Demonstrate proficiency in negative numbers. To earn a P: Participate in class. To earn an F: Do not participate in class. |
